Then you know how the Jewish people felt when they returned to their wrecked land after exile and began rebuilding the temple. They were distracted, discouraged, and ready to throw in the towel. But the prophet Haggai reminded them they could find courage in the God who had never left them.

New Release Today's Kevin Davis claimed "This song is all about having a strong faith. Without faith it is impossible to please God. Sometimes we have a tendency to think we can try to know everything. God tells us in the Bible that with faith, we can do anything in Christ. I'm completely convicted by the strong lyrics and find immense comfort in this song filled with biblical truth. Like her previous songs, 'It is Well' and 'I Will Follow You', Kristene has once again written a song that touches my heart and meets me where I am spiritually."[3] Laura Chambers of Today's Christian Entertainment said "'Take Courage' encourages us to wait for God to reveal His way in due time, never losing faith that He will come through for us. Kristene DiMarco reminds herself of God's promise to complete what He started. We can find Him while we faithfully await the victory He'll bring. The strength of her voice complements the power she knows God wields, before softening as though one were falling asleep assured of their safety."[4]

Take Courage Coaching offers a growing community of board-certified pain coaches ready to help you. It takes courage to defeat chronic pain. You are not in the battle alone, and courage is the first thing we have to offer. The staff and coaches at Take Courage Coaching come from the trenches of chronic pain. We understand it, and we have made it our mission to help you thrive despite your pain. We walk beside you as you discover your own courage. We are here for you.

Yet those who have the courage can move from the darkness into knowledge and enlightenment that provides power to speak the unspeakable, even when the outcome is a poor reception. That is the opportunity and the challenge for all of us, whether survivors, advocates, leaders, or members of the community. Courage is possible, and so is peace.

Only those who have this courage can make wiser choices that lead to a fuller and more meaningful life, no matter what others decide to do about waking up. True character and spiritual maturity doesn't look to others for approval and validation.

Bethel Music has announced the upcoming release of their first full-length album recorded live on tour, Starlight. Starlight is anchored in the message that our lives, our world, and all eternity are held together in Jesus. Like His stars placed in the universe, no distance separates us from our Creator and we are handcrafted and deeply known as children of God. The album releases on April 7, but is available to pre-order now and when you do, you'll receive instant downloads of "Starlight" by Amanda Cook, Kristene DiMarco's "Take Courage," and "King of My Heart" led by Steffany Gretzinger. take courage (third-person singular simple present takes courage, present participle taking courage, simple past took courage, past participle taken courage)

"Rise up -- this matter is in your hands. We will support you, so take courage and do it." Ezra 10:4. God has called us to be a people of action. Without God working through you, corruption will reign and lies will prevail. Therefore, go out and be the salt and light this world needs.
